Sintullo (Rattlesnake) Stud Earrings

Prominent in traditional Chahta dress today, the diamond design honors the eastern diamondback rattlesnake, called sinti hullo or supernatural snake by Chahta ancestors, who revered the reptile not only for its dominance and pre-strike warning, but also for its help in protecting crops from predators. Each diamond is made of handwoven glass beads and measures approximately 0.4” wide. These studs are perfect for everyday wear in primary or secondary ear piercings. An order of one includes two pairs of studs as shown. Please indicate your color choice in the "Additional information" field when ordering: A. Black/purple + silver (1 available) B. Turquoise/red + silver (2 available) C. Dark/light green + gold (1 available) D. Navy/pink + silver (1 available) E. Black Picasso/flax + gold (1 available) **To avoid damaging these earrings, remove them by gripping the post and not the beads.**
